We're the studio that closes that gap, so people don't just see what you've built. They remember it.
The name
Say it out loud. In Sanskrit, yani means path. In Turkish, yani means "in other words," the phrase you reach for right before you finally make yourself clear. Two languages, one name: the path, and the point of it.
The journey
Every startup believes their idea could be worth a million dollars. Sometimes the thinking is right. The technology is right. And it still doesn't take off, because people never connect with it. They don't remember it, they don't trust it, and they don't come back.
That gap, between a brilliant idea and the people who need to remember it, is where most startups get stuck.
It's also exactly where we start. Yani exists to bridge that gap: to take what brilliant minds have built and give it a shape people can actually hold onto. Not decoration. The thing that gets you remembered.
What we believe
A brilliant idea doesn't earn trust on its own. People don't remember features. They remember how something made them feel: whether it was clear, whether it was honest, and whether it showed up the same way every time.
That's what we design for. Not a logo, not a deck. The actual experience that turns a good idea into something people recognize, trust, and come back to.
We'd rather tell you an uncomfortable truth than sell you a comfortable deliverable. Honest, not agreeable. It's a rule we hold ourselves to on every path we walk.
Paths being walked
The proof we value most is present tense: brands walking their path with us right now.
A multi-sport athletics brand, live since January 2026.
Gymnazium needed a brand built to hold up under real, physical use: courts, signage, kit, and a facility people move through every day, not just a logo on a screen. We led the full identity from the ground up, then carried that system into the built space itself, working directly with the architectural team on wayfinding, court markings, and how the brand reads across every room. A complete brand handbook ties it together so every future location opens looking like it belongs to the same family.
A South Indian restaurant brand: "The origin of feast."
Alore's identity is built around a kolam: the geometric patterns drawn by hand outside South Indian homes every morning, translated into a mark that scales from a matchbox to a storefront. We shaped the full visual system: menus, signage, packaging, and the small details a guest actually touches, then worked alongside the architects on structural coordination for the space itself, so the brand and the room are being built to the same plan.
Mission
Whether you're just starting out, changing direction, or growing into new markets, we walk that path with you, step by step.
Vision
We want every founder to find a clear path to a brand people believe in, no matter where they're starting from. Not by guessing. By following a method that works every time.
The team
A multidisciplinary group of design partners, each with their own speciality, all walking the same method.
Founder & Strategist
Trained as an architect, now designs brands the same way: to stand under real weight, for real people.
FAQ
The things founders usually want to know before they reach out.
We work with international founders at inflection points — launching, repositioning, or going to market. Whether that's a first-time startup or an established company entering a new market, the common thread is a moment where the brand needs to catch up with the business.
You can take pieces individually, but we always recommend taking the full path together — strategy, identity, and web work as one system, and that's what makes sure your message actually reaches the customer the way it's meant to.
Most digital-based work takes 1–2 months. Depending on the pack you choose and the scale of your business, that timeline can extend.
Yes. We work across languages and borders as a matter of course — that's part of how the studio operates, not an exception we make.
It follows our six-step method — you can see the full breakdown in the Method section on the home page. Each step has a clear deliverable, so you always know where the project stands.
Locate, Map, Choose, Make, Walk, Check is our own path metaphor, built on the classic six-stage design thinking process — research, synthesize, ideate, prototype, test, improve — the framework widely used across UX and product design. We didn't invent the underlying model; we shaped it into how brand and strategy work actually unfolds, step by step, in the open.
One round of revision at each step of the process.
Both. We work with founders before launch and with companies already operating who are repositioning or scaling — wherever the inflection point is.
Yes, that's available. We'll still recommend the full path if we think a single piece won't carry the message on its own, but it's your call.
Every brand's needs are different, so we don't work off a fixed package price — each project gets a quote based on scope.
Yes. Post-launch support includes monthly reviews, newsletters relevant to your business, and a personalized chatbot trained on your brand and strategy.
